| The Fearsaver: |
 Fearsaver, the Fear Factory screensaver, is available for Mac and PC. It was included on initial pressings of Obsolete in some countries, and on the Resurrection promo CD. It is a basic shooting gallery game, where you shoot the targets with different weapons while listening to excerpts from Securitron, Descent, Edgecrusher, and Resurrection. After working for long hours on the computer, the screen saver allows the user to vent pent-up energy, But it also runs without user interaction, demonstrating to the user how it functions. There are four weapons to choose from based on four songs from the new Fear Factory album Obsolete. The weapon determines what song is being played and how it takes down the businessmen. The brain shows the "points". At the bottom of the action frame, the lyrics from the song that is being played will scroll across the screen. There are different levels of difficulty to keep the screen saver interesting. Download: you need windows 95+ or mac os 7+ including the newest drivers. (thats for mac os the driver 5.5.1, for windows all drivers coming with win9x) |
